CRM Lead Qualification Matrix | Lead Scoring & Qualification Matrix (CRM)

This module is developed to enhance CRM qualification scoring and decision making in Odoo. It introduces a dedicated Qualification tab in the CRM Lead/Opportunity form view, containing configurable qualification fields used to evaluate lead readiness.

Each qualification field is assigned a score value, enabling objective measurement of lead quality. In addition, the module provides CRM qualification checklists to validate key requirements during the qualification process.

Based on the total calculated qualification score and checklist validation results, the system automatically determines the Qualification Decision, which can be one of the following:

  • Proceed to Quote
  • Insufficient Information
  • Do Not Quote

This ensures a structured, consistent, and automated qualification process, helping sales teams make informed and standardized quoting decisions.


CRM Qualification Scoring & Decision Management : Main Features

  • Qualification Tab in CRM Form View:
    • Adds a dedicated Qualification tab to the CRM Lead/Opportunity form view.
    • Contains configurable qualification fields used to evaluate lead readiness.
    • Each qualification field includes an associated score value to support objective qualification measurement.
  • Score Based Qualification Decision:
    • Automatically calculates the total qualification score based on field level scoring.
    • Sets the Qualification Decision based on the calculated score:
      • Proceed to Quote
      • Insufficient Information
      • Do Not Quote
  • Job Type Based Qualification Score Ranges:
    • Introduces Qualification Score Ranges in the Job Type configuration.
    • Total qualification score is validated against the defined range to determine:
      • Proceed to Quote
      • Insufficient Information
      • Do Not Quote
    • Enables flexible qualification logic based on job complexity and business type.
  • Qualification Complexity & Risk Configuration:
    • Adds two selection fields in the CRM form view:
      • Qualification Complexity
      • Qualification Risk
    • Score configuration for both fields is managed in CRM Settings.
    • Selected values contribute to the overall qualification score calculation.
  • Qualification Checklist Validation:
    • Provides configurable CRM Qualification Checklists.
    • If any checklist item is marked as Unsatisfied:
      • Qualification Decision is automatically set to Do Not Quote
      • User cannot move the opportunity to the Qualified stage
      • New Quotation and Won buttons are disabled
      • An error message is raised if the user attempts stage progression
  • Force Qualification Stage Override (Sales Admin Only):
    • Introduces a Force Qualification Stage boolean field.
    • Accessible only to Sales Admin users.
    • When enabled:
      • Allows movement to the Qualified stage even if the decision is Do Not Quote
      • Re enables New Quotation and Won buttons
    • Ensures controlled override for exceptional business cases.
  • CRM Reporting Enhancements:
    • Adds qualification related fields to CRM reporting.
    • Enables better visibility and analysis of:
      • Qualification scores
      • Qualification decisions
      • Risk and complexity factors
    • Improves reporting accuracy and decision tracking.
